1. Who we are
Safezone Protect Limited (“Safezone”, “we”) of Ramco Court, Mombasa Road, Nairobi, Kenya is the data controller for personal data collected through safezoneprotect.com. We process personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable laws. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
Only what you give us: your name, company, email, phone, location and the details of your request when you use our contact, quote, careers or newsletter forms, and the messages you type into our AI assistant. Our server also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser, time) for security.
3. How we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations, deliver the security services you contract, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and keep the website secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
4. AI assistant
The chat assistant is powered by a third-party AI model provider (Anthropic). Messages you send are transmitted to that provider only to generate a reply. Please do not share passwords, ID numbers or payment details in the chat. Answers are informative — confirm prices and service details with our team.
5. Cookies and embedded content
We use no tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser stores your theme (light/dark) and the current chat conversation locally on your device. Maps (OpenStreetMap) come from a third party under its own policy.
6. Retention and security
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and accounting obligations, then deleted. Data is sent over encrypted connections and access is limited to staff who need it.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to its processing or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by writing to [email protected]. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya.
