Our Standards
The system behind every officer.
Good security is not luck. It comes from careful recruitment, constant training, close supervision and the right equipment — here is how we do it.

PSRA-compliant operations
Safezone Protect operates under Kenya’s Private Security Regulation Act, 2016 and the Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA). Our officers are trained and registered as the law requires, so clients are protected from the penalties for using unregistered guards.
- Registered private security provider
- Trained, registered officers
- Statutory pay and deductions
- Documents available to clients

Thorough vetting
Every officer is vetted before and during training: past employment is checked (with interviews of previous employers where needed), documents are authenticated and a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is confirmed.
- Employment history checks
- Document authentication
- DCI good-conduct certificate
- Ongoing re-vetting

Training that never stops
All personnel complete induction, basic and assignment-specific training, followed by regular refresher and concurrent on-the-job sessions. Modules include search procedures, first aid, patrolling, observation, report writing, customer care and dealing with the public. Training records are open to clients.
- Induction and basic training
- Assignment-specific briefings
- First aid and fire response
- Refresher and on-the-job training

Supervision day and night
A well-trained officer still needs supervision. Mobile supervisors visit every post at least twice by day and twice by night, field officers and management check the supervisors, and a strict code of conduct is enforced: we treat, train, transfer or terminate — but never tolerate breaches.
- Post visits twice by day, twice by night
- Supervisors checked by management
- Written code of conduct
- Dedicated account manager

24/7 control centre
Guard sign-in and sign-out times, emergencies and urgent requests are monitored live at the Safezone Control Centre — at our cost, not yours. It lets us act fast on any emergency at your premises.
- Live guard attendance
- Emergency dispatch
- Included at no extra cost
- Open every day of the year

Biometric guard patrol system
On request, checkpoints are placed around your property in consultation with you. The officer records each checkpoint during the patrol, and you receive patrol reports at agreed intervals — reports that cannot be falsified, proving you receive every contracted patrol.
- Checkpoints agreed with you
- Every round time-stamped
- Tamper-proof reports
- Available on request

Reliable radio network
Officers carry Motorola two-way radios on a trunked network with conventional repeater back-up, giving reliable communication across our operating areas between posts, supervisors and the control room.
- Two-way radios on every post
- Repeater back-up
- Direct line to supervisors
- Coverage across our regions

Fair pay, motivated officers
Motivated people provide better security. We pay at or above the rates in each area, never knowingly underpay, and invest in uniforms, equipment, recognition, leave and rest periods.
- At or above area pay rates
- Quality uniforms and equipment
- Recognition for good work
- Proper leave and rest

Indemnity up to KES 2,000,000
Clients should insure themselves, but we also provide an indemnity of up to KES 2,000,000 per event for loss shown to result from negligence by our personnel on duty. Compensation follows a joint investigation by our investigators and any legal body the client involves.
- Up to KES 2M per event
- Covers proven guard negligence
- Fast joint investigation
- Paid on completion of the investigation
